art, soul & reconnecting to the self

My work is deeply informed by a lifelong engagement with meditation, yoga, chanting, and Vedic astrology — traditions that cultivate expanded awareness. These studies continue to guide how I listen, how I think, and how I help clients reconnect with what matters most.

Healing and growth are enriched by creativity. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a record producer, creating and contributing to numerous albums. I am also a musician — playing slide guitar, clawhammer banjo, and the Chinese guqin. I studied Thai cooking for over a decade, and I hold a deep love for Japanese Zen art, particularly the painting and calligraphy of literati and monk-artists. I also have a long-standing love of Chinese tea and ceramics — traditions that, like therapy, reveal their depth slowly through presence and quiet attention.

These diverse practices have taught me discipline, attention, and flow — qualities I bring into every session.

how i work

Whether in one-on-one therapy, coaching, or organizational advising, my focus is the same: helping people rediscover steadiness, live with greater clarity, and align with deeper meaning.

My intention is simple: to keep the soul in the room — helping people move past what holds them back, and more deeply into a life filled with what truly matters.
